Our ideal candidate is a highly skilled and experienced Google Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who will play a key role in understanding the needs and goals of our customers and help shape their business objectives and achievements using Google Cloud. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure on Google Cloud. 

This role requires a deep understanding of Google Cloud services, best practices, and a passion for leveraging cloud technologies to drive business success. You'll translate complex business challenges into cloud-based solutions, directly impacting the operational efficiency, innovation, and market competitiveness of our clients, from dynamic startups to leading enterprises. An ideal candidate is already well-versed in Google Cloud processes and will easily assimilate with technical teams who have a stellar reputation for doing things “the Google way”. Your role will involve designing infrastructure solutions that are both scalable and seamlessly integrated with our clients' operations, embodying our commitment to excellence

Key Responsibilities

1. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure, preferably on Google Cloud.
2. Strong understanding of Google Cloud services, architecture, and best practices.
3. Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
4. Experience leading consultative architecture discovery & implementation sessions with enterprise customers (internal or external), particularly with respect to access management, networking topologies, observability & security/compliance
5. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Go.
6. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
7. Familiarity with DevOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
8. Experience with networking and system design of load balancers, firewalls, VPN in architecture, developing or maintaining production grade systems.
9. Experience in software development, managing Windows/Linux environments, network design and deployment, databases and storage systems.
10. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
11. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience working with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team and customer base and collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
2. Experience leveraging quantitative assessment and analysis for decision-making and prioritization.
3. Demonstrated understanding of the broader cloud marketplace and the differentiators of various cloud offerings.
4. Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
5. Ability to work in ambiguous situations and define a path to resolution.

Preferred Certifications

  1.      Certification in Google Cloud (e.g., Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud            Architect) preferred but not required.
